Central Park West Duplex
The first renovation for this client was when they purchased a simplex apartment in the San Remo tower. The apartment completely was redone including refining the plan with a central gallery for improved circulation to the principal rooms. The owners returned to transform the apartment into a duplex after acquiring the apartment directly above. The second renovation required a new stair to join the apartments and allowed for entertaining rooms and guest suites for which there was not space previously.
The owners also acquired a large terrace on the floor below the duplex which is accessed only by an exterior stair from the kitchen balcony.
