Pied-à-terre in a Landmarked Tower
The owners of this apartment wanted a pied-a-terre where they could both feel at home in the city and have large spaces to entertain. Bronze and glass doors inspired by the 1920s architecture of the building were designed for the entry to the apartment.
The floorplan was reconfigured so that the primary rooms would take advantage of the sprawling views of Central Park, and the main bedroom would also frame the view south to the Empire State Building.
