F&S was honored to support The New York School of Interior Design’s annual gala, which honored Anne Pyne, Nate Berkus, and Erick Espinoza ’13, and raised money for the school’s important scholarship programs.
Congratulations to F&S team member, Daniel Kiser, for his 2024 Addison Mizner Award for Excellence in Classical and Traditional Architecture. His project, “Casa de las Tres Palmitas,” is an eleven-room boutique hotel that honors the rich architectural character of Trinidad, Cuba, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The project was completed as part of his studies at the University of Notre Dame.
We are pleased to announce our Aspen Mountain House project has received a McKim, Mead & White Award from the Institute of Clasical Architecture & Art. Led by Partners Mark Ferguson and M. Damian Samora, the team including Scott Reinthaler, Alexandra VanOrsdale, Elizabeth Duffy, and Josef Albert all enjoyed the award ceremony at The Metropolitan Club of New York.

The Memphis Decorative Arts Trust hosted a lecture at the Brooks Museum with Partners M. Damian Samora and Tom McManus. While in Memphis, the two Partners also attended a book signing with Lindley Martens at her beautiful Laurel Road Antiques shop.

An Italianate Villa in Southern California, has received a 2022 Julia Morgan Award for New Residential Architecture from the ICAA’s Northern California Chapter.
In coordination with University of Colorado Denver and the ICAA Rocky Mountain Chapter, Partners M. Damian Samora and Stephen Chrisman gave a lecture on the firm’s recent work, followed by a day of drawing in the field at the Byron R. White Courthouse. Students on the drawing tour created measured sketches of one of the city’s finest examples of Neoclassical architecture.

The Winter Show provided a rare opportunity to design the iconic Barney’s New York windows on Madison Avenue. Design Co-Chairs, Partner Mark Ferguson and Principal Andrew Oyen joined Corey Damon Jenkins, Young Huh, and Keita Turner who each designed a window using art and antiques from the show.
Keynote speaker for the annual Alvin Holm Lecture, Partner Stephen Chrisman presented an exploration of the firm’s work at the Union League Club of Philadelphia for the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Philadelphia Chapter.
