We are thrilled to be design co-chairs of @thewint We are thrilled to be design co-chairs of @thewintershownyc! We were invited to design a Madison Avenue window at the iconic Barney’s flagship. Our window imagines a return to celebrations at home with the aftermath of a lively party attended by New York’s architecture and design greats, past and present...#RosarioCandela, #StanfordWhite, #DorothyDraper, #SisterParish, #AlbertHadley, #BillyBaldwin…The backdrop, rendered by our office, was inspired by a Park Avenue apartment designed for longtime clients. It serves as a fitting setting for a festive party celebrating the Winter Show’s spring awakening and a return to togetherness. Head to 660 Madison to see our window, along with those by fellow co-chairs @coreydamenjenkins, @keitaturnerdesign, @younghuh and @levi_higgs, and @theralphharvard. The Winter Show kicks off tomorrow with the Opening Night Party and will be open to the public daily, April 1 – 10.

Thank you to @djcandg, @davidmasello for featuring Thank you to @djcandg, @davidmasello for featuring our Fairfield project in the current issue of @cottagesgardens. @davidmasello writes, “Life on the farm is inherently messy, but a bit of dirt doesn't mean you have to sacrifice loveliness. Antique French terra cotta flooring, hand-finished gray marble wainscoting, and a flower sink in this Connecticut estate's mudroom, the first line of defense from the horses and goats that roam just outside, imbue a livable space with easy elegance.” Link in stories for the full story! Our East Hampton collaboration with @michaelsmithi Our East Hampton collaboration with @michaelsmithinc is featured on @1stdibs Introspective. Thank you to @tony1stdibs, @sswanicke, and @fabnyny, for presenting the narrative of a house designed in the historic vernacular of the region that appears to have evolved over time. While the front façade resembles a saltbox with 9-over-9 windows inspired by local 1720s precedent, the rear oceanfront façade evokes a more modern intervention. @fabnyny writes:
.
“Here, the windows no longer have small panes. They’re triple-hung, without muntins. “They’re large but they’re still operable,” says @stephentchrisman. “You can lift them and walk right outside.” Open or closed, they offer clear views of the dunes and the ocean beyond.” @rizzolibooks #collaborationsbook | Photo by @lisaromerein. | Landscape by @arnemaynardgardendesign
